Mellow Yellow

yellow wall

Colour-fields abound in the garden as the autumn days shorten, a brief cruise with the camera, a belly full of tea - and everything is Yellow.

A few more can be found on my photo site of my garden in Smithfield

soft flash at dusk reveals a bearded tree spirit.

colour field

This is my favourite, I see a Bill Ainslie, or Jill Trappler colour field painting.

yellow poles

It is the abstract shapes, colours and light play in the shadows.

quite brightly

Prickly Pear is yummy, but this lot will be eaten on the day they ripen.

yellow shade

Actually Yellow doesn't make me feel mellow at all - quite rightly!

  2. Hope you got a big rake, those leaves are wonderful worm food, and you’ll have to think about your pet frogs for next summer, never mind your half extinct field mice!
Best, keep them for when tobacco is finally outlawed!
